Complaint against UNITED Airlines
With todays technology you can%u2019t tell me that customers that have chosen a seat cannot remain in the seat till they initially choose at the time they purchased the ticket. You will say in the contract/fine print there is no guarantee that you will keep your selected seat %u2014- BUT FOR FIRST CLASS AND THE COST OF THE TICKET %u2014 why would you not do your best to keep customers in the seat they requested.
I fly a lot - but not on UNITED - because your service is terrible. My sister convinced me to give you a chance so we scheduled this trip and guess what - she got messed over too. My other sister (we are taking this as a family vacation) and her extended family (13 more seats purchased in Economy plus), also got messed over - she has had to call numerous times to get her family seated together.
My question is why is your service so bad? When I fly other airlines and I choose a seat I keep that seat no matter any changes (time, craft etc.), and when there are changes I get notified via email. You need to know that I will voice my frustration and dissatisfaction concerning UNITED with anyone who should ask about your service.
Also, remember if it were not for us, the customer, you would not be in business. I suggest you address your tech department on the seating issue. I will continue to travel but will look at all other means to get to my final destination and only take UNITED if there is noting else workable.
