United airlines - no sympathy to deceased

I needed to change my flight due to the funeral being moved on the day I was supposed to leave and they wanted to charge me an extra $411. They told me if I got a death certificate they would take off $200. No sympathy was given. I had to get to the airport at 6:23 AM due to the family having to line up at the funeral home at 8 AM and my flight didn't leave till 1:11 PM. I arrived in Houston on time but did not leave until 10 o'clock due to a delay on the maintenance of the plane. This is been a very sad trip and to have to be delayed 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm from Houston was very hard on me. I feel that with United airlines was going to charge me $411 to change my flight after I had to set in Houston for almost 3 hours, I feel that I should be compensated that amount since I had to wait so long. My time is precious too. I felt so bad to leave and not be able to go to the funeral since I didn't have $411.00 more to spend.
